An independent music publication for the loudest music and listeners, all based in Chicago, IL and established in 2020.
Woozy Magazine is an inclusive platform to talk about music, the people that make it, and those who enjoy it. The mag is a result of a collaboration between a group of best friends that spend a lot of time going to shows, sending each other the newest releases we’re excited about, and just talking about music.
All about feeling alive and enjoying sound, because no matter what happens, the music keeps going.

Hello! I’m from Oregon and am studying journalism in Chicago. With the free time I have, I like to draw, cross-stitch, hike and roller skate – and if I’m not talking to someone, I can guarantee I’m listening to music!

I was born and raised in Chicago, and love supporting local bands and musicians from my city. I’m always listening to music -when I’m spending time outside, doing crafts, or spending time with friends.

I’m a journalism student based in Seattle and Chicago. You’ll most likely find me biking up and down city streets, hiking in the Pacific Northwest, or trying different types of clam chowder. Check out my “Our Sunday Best” series here at Woozy Mag!

My name is Laina Suarez and I am originally from Bentonville, Arkansas. Growing up surrounded by nature, I love to hike and with all this new found free time, I’ve been working on my photography and videography skills. Some of my favorite artists of all time are Tyler Childers, Goofi and Rainbow Kitten Surprise, but my overall music taste is pretty diverse. I love to listen to a little bit of everything.

What’s up! I’m a music loving artist from Chicago. Most of my days consist of jamming out to all types of tunes while commuting in the loop. When I’m not listening to music, I’m out trying to make my own!
